Dr Leonie Ngahuia Mansbridge, Ngāti Maniapoto, story-teller and multi-disciplinary Māori artist living in Fremantle, Western Australia. The landscape is her principal genre; she identifies with the land through her culture, giving a deep insight into contemporary cultural art. Abstracting the land and exaggerating the colours is her way to engage.
