Basil Antonas

Basil creates paintings with expression and movement often catalysed by his spontaneous yet refined tactile forms and use of colour. Fine textural details give his works a distinct depth and tangibility. Basil lives and works in Parkerville, Western Australia and has exhibited in several solo exhibitions and group shows. His work ‘Rawness’ was awarded best Painting Open Theme at the 2017 Cossack Art Awards, Western Australia’s richest regional acquisitive art award. His work hangs in homes from Australia to Italy.
