Jo Darbyshire is a Fremantle based artist. Her abstract paintings explores her strong relationship with the WA coast and her interest in its underwater landscapes, islands, Fremantle Port and traces of colonial life. She aims to suggest a poetic, sensory connection.This work Floating Lady (after Hokusai) is a 3 m x 1.5 m diptych, oil on canvas and is from her Floating World paintings from 2008.
