Our favourite thing to do when the weather cools down is to reach for something warm and that’s exactly what we have BUT we’ve stepped it up with local foodie Kate. Our Chai tea represents a traditional Indian healing drink from a firm base of Indian spices, truly a royal experience and this Mother’s Day we thought we’d create a special dish that was quick and easy to prepare but that TOTALLY delivered on flavour. Oats are a long time breaky go to and our chosen “bed companion” for that loved one in your life this May and the months that follow! This recipe is exclusive to us and has been lovingly prepared. Simple, delicious and easy to start the night before, or simply brew and make when you wake! We enjoyed this dish hot, but it’s just as delicious cold as a low GI snack with your choice of fruits!
Chai and Brown Sugar Oats
Mix in sugar and vanilla and add oats bring to a low simmer, stirring, and cook until you reach desired consistency (4-8 mins) Serve oats topped with chopped nuts and a sliced pear or anything you’d prefer.
