Blend #5

Karvan Coffee Blend #5 is the new kid on the block in our core range and we think that you’ll enjoy getting to know this Blend for its Chocolate, Vanilla and Roasted hazelnut in the cup. A versatile espresso that will fit in well at home with all coffee drinkers.

This coffee has a velvety mouthfeel, predominantly chocolate flavours, and a relatively uncomplicated structure. Very smooth, has low acidity and is lovely in milk or with your milk alternative. If you drink your coffee black, then you may experience hints of dried fruit, leaning more toward prunes.

Blend 5 is the 5th coffee to be released into our core range. It is a darker roast, although not dark by industry standards, and it is a cup that includes Brazil Apua, pulped naturally, and Colombian Popayan, washed.

Blends Vs Single Origins: Which is right for you?  Our Karvan Coffee Blend #5 is a blend of specialty grown coffee beans from Colombia and Brazil. Each origin has very individual flavours;

• Colombian coffee brings a mellow acidity, which is what makes it the perfect coffee for drinkers of alternative milk.
• Brazilian coffee high-quality espresso blends are made from either Bourbon Santos or Brazil Cerrado due to the ability of Brazilian coffees to take dark roasts without turning overly bitter. This is due in part to the mild, balance flavour of Brazilian coffee beans..
