Brazil | Nicaragua | Papua New Guinea
Complex layers of warm chocolate, gentle nuttiness with sweet and round yellow fruit, finish with lingering vanilla in milk.
Karvan Seasonal Blend 1 is a carefully crafted blend that celebrates the distinctive characteristics of three exceptional coffee-growing countries: Brazil, Nicaragua, and Papua New Guinea. Each origin contributes its unique terroir and flavour profile, creating a harmonious cup that delights with each sip.
Brazil Mantiqueira | Natural
This coffee is from the Mantiguera de Minas region in the state of Minas Gerais. This territory is uniquely privileged in factors ideal for coffee production. It’s the base for this blend, providing a solid ground for the blend to express depth.
Nicaragua La Llamarada | Washed
Nueva Segovia, a coffee-growing region where coffee is the focus. Named after the El Malinche tree, a majestic fiery red tree that blooms in May on the first rainfall of winter. Exceptional coffee producers have been identified in this region, and together they make up this outstanding coffee for us to enjoy.
Papua New Guinea Kindeng Mill | Natural
This blend from PNG is a collection of 1500 smallholder farmers in the Kindeng and Arufa municipalities. The average farm size is 1-2 hectares, and the cherry is purchased by the Kindeng Mill so that it can be appropriately processed. This larger community lot is a natural process, which is a relatively rare process from PNG, comprising various producers from a single community with an elevated profile.
Rich and inviting with notes of warm chocolate and gentle nutty character.
Complex layers of chocolate and nut from Brazil, complemented by Nicaragua’s crisp, sweet and well-rounded fruit notes and PNG’s tropical fruit bomb.
Long, sweet finish with lingering notes of vanilla in milk.
Each bean is of speciality grade and sourced from dedicated and passionate farmers.
We work closely with our green bean suppliers to ensure the supply chain is transparent because we want you to purchase your seasonal blend and be confident that you’re supporting small businesses, family businesses, and sustainably farmed coffee.
