Scott is much more of a tea drinker, but he can’t pass up a nice hot chocolate. Although his fairy is enjoying a milkshake, the diner atmosphere was perfect for a modern café. Couldn’t you see yourself sitting beside her with coffee in hand, enjoying a conversation as you look out the window?

Scott has always been a fan of Brian Froud since seeing “The Labyrinth” as a child, so fairies and goblins have always had a place in his art and mind. He loves putting characters into positions most people don’t think of—hence the idea of a 1950s Americana diner roller-skater waitress who is a fairy. This fairy has been having a particularly long shift and is finally getting a five-minute break, enjoying her favourite drink, a strawberry milkshake. She isn’t greedy though, and if you’re nice, she’s happy to share.
