Jacinda Bayne has been a practising artist for over 20 years. She graduated in 1997 from Otago Art School, New Zealand, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, majoring in painting. She now works from her studio in Fremantle, Perth, WA.

Her art cup features “Beyond,” a colourful piece designed to help the drinker relax or reflect. The artwork explores places we might miss or not see in our travels—those moments when we’re so busy reaching destinations that we miss out on the journey itself.

Jacinda loves colour and believes it has the power to transform everyday moments. She’s particularly enjoyed seeing her work on a medium other than canvas or paper, appreciating that people can experience her artwork during their busy daily lives.

Working from her PSAS studio in Fremantle, Jacinda continues creating art that captures life’s overlooked moments. She believes supporting the arts is crucial because without it, life would be dull. Her work encourages viewers to pause, reflect, and notice the beauty in life’s journey rather than just focussing on destinations.
