Rishi Tea Basket

An efficient tea basket for your loose leaf tea. Unlike other brewers, this basket comes with a lid so you can close the top whilst the tea brews.

How to use:

• Choose your favourite tea from our Pure Tea range.
• Place 1 – 2 teaspoons of loose leaf tea into the infuser (note: the amount will vary depending on the tea. Refer to the instructions we provide on the Pure Tea card).
• Pour 85 – 100 degree boiled water onto the loose leaf tea.
• Fill the cup and breathe in the beautiful aroma the tea exhibits.
• Cover the infuser basket with the provided lid.
• Allow the tea to brew for 2 – 5 minutes (note: refer to the brewing card for exact time).
• Lift up the basket out of the cup.
• You can place the loose leaf tea into your compost or, reuse the tea leaves depending on which type you’ve selected.
• To clean, remove the loose leaf tea and give the basket a good rinse with warm water.

Finding the right tea infuser can sometimes be tricky. Often, insufficient baskets can let thick tea leaves fall out of its netting and into your brew. The Rishi Tea Basket is different. The extra-fine mesh filter offers a secure netting for your tea whilst also allowing a sufficient and deep brew. The size of the basket has been designed specifically to allow tea leaves to unfurl.
