Gunpowder Green

Description

When brewed, Gunpowder Green tea has an original slightly grassy taste with a very strong and tangy aroma. If too strong, you may pour away the first brew and re-infuse the leaves, or serve with mint for a delightfully refreshing brew.

Not sure how to brew it?

For your enjoyment, we recommend brewing your Gunpowder Green tea using the following recipe:

• 2.5g (1 teaspoon) of loose leaf tea or 1 teabag per cup
• 240ml filtered water, 75 to 80 degrees C from  a tetemperature-ntrolled kettle
• Steep for 3 to 4 minutes or longer if you enjoy a bolder flavour
• Remove leaves to prevent further steeping

You can reuse the tea leaves up to 2-3 times and then pop them in the compost or worm farm, making this green tea excellent value.
