Cacao & Peppermint

Organic herbal tea bags come in all varieties but we think our Cacao and Peppermint is such a treat.

With a combination of cacao husks and cacao nibs it is no wonder that this tea provides nuances of chocolate.  Cacao husk is the outer most shell of the cacao bean and is quite fibrous whilst the nib is basically pieces of dried and fermented cacao bean.  We think Bon Appetit explains what it is well if you would like to find out more.

To make your infusion and for your enjoyment, we recommend brewing your new favourite tea using the following recipe:

• 2.5g (1 teaspoon) of loose leaf tea or 1 teabag per cup
• 240ml near boiling filtered water and we love the stylish Brewista kettle
• Steep for 3 to 6 minutes or longer if you enjoy a bolder flavour
• Remove goodies to prevent further steeping

Ingredients: Organic peppermint, cacao nibs, cacao husks

Fresh and sometimes peppery, a cup of pepp tea can do wonders for you. What a bonus if it also tastes of chocolate and is available as loose leaf or organic herbal tea bags.
