Brazil offers a unique and scrumptious selection of coffee beans. These beans are the perfect way to explore the region’s offerings. You will experience nutty and chocolate flavours with a toffee finish. A smooth, well-balanced coffee, delicious with milk or enjoyed black. Roasted for espresso yet enjoyed as a filter coffee, if you don’t mind a bold cup.
The Apua growers in Espirito Santo – What’s in a name?
“Apua” is Brazil’s indigenous name for “mountains” and refers to the landscape of the region in which this coffee is grown.
The mountainous terrain is ideal for growing coffee and small-scale coffee growers occupy Espirito Santo, many of which are families. These families run their farms with passion and dedication, unlike any other. These particular beans are from the southern area of the Espirito Santo state. With mild temperatures and steep highlands, coffee cherries thrive. Apua delivers outstanding quality, classic pulped and naturally processed coffee.
Single origins are the perfect way to explore flavours and to taste the specific flavours of a region. Just like chardonnay from Margaret River tastes different from one from the Yarra Valley. So too does coffee.
