If a little bird had of told me that it would be raining cats and dogs for the entire Taste of Perth weekend I probably would have said that 2015 was the year to have the weekend off.
The weather is not something that any of us can predict and so with our usual gusto we prepared our stand for a busy weekend talking to the coffee lovers of Perth.
Luckily for us coffee is incredibly popular but more so when the weather is chilly, windy and wet. The most incredible people braved umbrellas and wet weather gear and enjoyed tasting our Karvan Coffee’s from the brew bar, which featured Ethiopian Sidamo, Kenyan Kathera and PNG Sigri, as well as Ethiopian Yirgacheffe and Blend #2 for espresso.
On the brew bar we were using the Moccamaster and Chemex to brew with, which showcased the individual flavours of each coffee. All outstanding coffees it really just came down to personal preference. Events like Taste of Perth are fantastic from a brand awareness point of view and gives us an opportunity to showcase what we do and explain how we do it.
The feedback was awesome and I particularly love seeing Brad (my hubby and our roaster) puff his chest out slightly as people pay compliment to the work that he does and to the yummy product that he creates. He is clever…
