Our Pure Tea range of Green Camellia Sinensis includes traditional Gunpowder Green and Buddhas Tears, as well as Morning Dew, a flavoured green which is super popular. We believe that by keeping our range small and delicious we can also source and create limited edition, small batch or single origin teas to maintain your interest.
Known for its antioxidants and other health benefits it has been recommended to help diabetics maintain a stable blood sugar level. We think you will agree with us that this variety of tea is special regardless.
Not sure how to brew it?
For your enjoyment, we recommend brewing using the following recipe:
2.5g (1 teaspoon) of loose leaf tea or 1 teabag per cup
240ml filtered water, 75 to 80 degrees C from a temperature controlled kettle
Steep for 3 to 4 minutes or longer if you enjoy a bolder flavour
Remove leaves to prevent further steeping
You can reuse the tea leaves up to 2-3 times and then pop them in the compost or worm farm making this tea excellent value.
We once saw a quote that said “Happiness is a cup of green tea” and whilst a gin and tonic does make us feel happy it is closely followed by our favourite mug of Buddhas Tears.
