Our Colombia Luis Sanchez Filter from our Single Origin Range is a delicious coffee. It grows in the super fertile volcanic soils of Pitalito, Huila and displays a fruity richness. It is a superb and high-scoring coffee.

We’ve named this Single Origin after the coffee farmer, Luis Orlando Sanchez, who has successfully grown this Tabi varietal. This happy little hybrid Tabi means “good” in the Guambiano (a native Colombian tribe) dialect. This coffee displays the positive cup qualities of its bourbon and Typica parents and it is a varietal we think we’ll see more of. We’ve enjoyed Colombia Luis Sanchez filter.

What is so special about Singles? Single-origin coffees are small-batch roasts that come from one specific growing area within a country. Have a look at your coffee beans to see where they’ve come from. Even more specific is a microlot coffee, which comes from only one growing area or plot on a single farm. Singles and microlots allow the consumer to understand and appreciate a specific coffee for its own unique flavour profile and distinct characteristics.
