For many years, Tolima remained hidden in plain sight, cradled between other well-known coffee-growing regions. What many would describe as an untapped source of specialty coffee. Farmers here typically grow their fruit on only a few acres of land inter-cropped with shade trees, bananas, corn, beans and sugar cane.
