If you would like to uncover more about Indonesian coffee head to our blog for our thoughts on the origin.
Kuta Kofi Mill farmers grow their coffee on the foothills of the Kubor Range with the Nebilyer Valley. This is a beautiful area with the wonderful black volcanic loamy soil PNG is so well known for.
Bryan Leahy is the brains behind the operation. He has dedicated a long and laborious journey to produce these exceptional Indonesian coffee beans.
Leahy draws from a selection of the finest crops selecting only the ripest Amakai cherries. The cherries are then carefully dried on wooden tables for 21 days. After they’re milled the coffee then rests for another 40 days. At every stage from the picking, sorting and packing – all is done by hand. Leahy must have patience beyond belief! And it certainly pays off, these coffee beans offer a delightful cup that you won’t be able to get enough of.
These coffee beans from PNG coffee beans are so sweet and silky you’ll be smacking those lips with joy. Prepare yourself for flavours of molasses, dark fruit and… banana! Yep, that’s right, banana! Taste it for yourself and let us know what you think.
We recommend serving as a long black or serve as filter. This way, you can experience the complex flavour notes that these coffee beans present. Take a sip, let the flavours melt in your mouth and feel your imagination explore the taste notes.
