Part of the La Bastilla Coffee Estates, run by Markus Fisher and Agronomist Martin Montero, this farm is adjacent to the Datanli el Diablo Nature Reserve, an important biological reserve in the Jinotega area.
The farm itself covers 311 hectares with 160 hectares dedicated to coffee cultivation, and the remaining protected forest. La Bastilla Coffee Estates work closely with the Foundation for Rural Education and Entrepreneurship (F.E.E.R). The F.E.E.R engages youth to promote quality education.
