A Single Origin “Designer Coffee” designed to take all coffee lovers on a bean to cup experience.
This October we are holding two cupping events as part of Fremantle Design Week. We will be talking about the bean to cup journey and introducing our Single Origins including this exclusive collaborative espresso coffee Costa Rica Magali & Alexander Delgado. This coffee is grown by in the picturesque region of San Luis de Grecia, Alajuela, nestled within the Cordillera Volcanica Central of Costa Rica’s Central Valley. Finca Cerro Sam Luis has been in the Delgado family for three generations. This year, 2024, we have been showcasing many different processing methods and this varietal has been processed using the Honey method – BLOG We can’t wait to share more information of this and other specialty coffees at our bean to cup – Cupping Events. Our second event will take place at Little Loaf Lunch Bar on the evening of the 24th GET TICKETS HERE and we’ll be presenting this coffee for taste and sale throughout October with ALL Hot Bread Group venues including Big Loaf, North Street Store and Wards Central Dining.

What is so special about Singles? Single-origin coffees are small-batch roasts from a specific growing area within a country. Have a look at your coffee beans to see where they’ve come from. Even more specific is a microlot coffee, which comes from only one growing area or plot on a single farm. Singles and microlots allow the consumer to understand and appreciate a specific coffee for its own unique flavour profile and distinct characteristics. They also help to establish traceability from farm to cup.
