What makes Ethiopian coffee so good?
If you ask a coffee snob what their favorite origin is, there’s a high chance they’ll answer with “Ethiopia.”
What makes Ethiopian coffee so good is the origin’s high quality, consistency, and great variety. Each region differs greatly from the last. Yet, always delivering exceptional flavour.
Farmed in Guji, this coffee has received ample rainfall and is gifted with steep mountainous terrain. This makes the land perfect for growing coffee cherries.
Farmed by Guji-native Tadesse Edema. Tadesse is a pioneer coffee producer in the region who is excited to offer these world-class coffee beans to coffee lovers around the world.
Handpicked and visually inspected, only the best coffee cherries make it through. After picking, cherries are pulped to be fermented. Fermentation for this coffee is for 36-72 hours. After this process, the cherries are carefully washed and then soaked for another 8-12 hours. It’s fair to say that these coffee farmers have a lot of patience!
A cup from the Guji region offers unique profiles and immense quality. Take a sip of this delicacy and explore the sweet juiciness that leaves you smacking your lips for more.
