These coffee beans from Ethiopia Muda Tatesa offer a sweet and floral cup with flavours of juicy black cherry and notes of pecan.
These coffee beans have been sourced from the coffee-growing zone Harsu Haro Muda, home to a coffee-growing cooperative, which purchases beans from over 2000 smallholder farms from the surrounding area. All the coffee farms grow roughly 1000 to 1800 trees per hectare fertisiling the coffee gardens with organic material when possible.
The producer of these Ethiopian coffee beans farms only half a hectare of land. Extra care is given to the beans, ensuring that a unique complexity is achieved for your coffee.
These natural coffee beans from Ethiopia have undergone meticulous care. The coffee beans are hand sorted so only the very best coffee cherries are selected. The coffee cherries are then spread on a drying table 4-5cm deep. Hourly, the coffee cherries are raked and ridged allowing for the cherries to naturally dry from the sun. They’re protected from the midday heat which can be too hot for the beans. After drying for 10 – 12 days, they’re removed and analysed by the farmers. Only the most superior beans make the cut and they’re then sent off to our roastery.
Ethiopia Muda Tatesa Natural coffee beans have been roasted especially for your filter brew. These beans are worth sharing with friends and there’s no better way to brew than with your Moccamaster.
