Yirgacheffee is one of the most popular regions in Ethiopia. Located in Southern Ethiopia, the coffee trees are spoiled with a tropical environment, healthy soil, and high elevations. This area of Ethiopia has outstanding conditions for growing coffee and it shows in the cup. Yirgacheffee has become renowned for producing coffee with rich flavours described as “winey” and “fruity.”
Sweet, uniform and clean. Beautifully balanced and medium in intensity. Winey nuances take the spotlight with soft fruit notes teasing the palette. A creamy mouthfeel offers texture and smoothness to the brew. An outstanding bean for your next filter coffee.
