Ecuador Grace Morales
A delectable Easter treat…
Altitude: 1450 MASL.
Farmer: Grace Morales.
In the Cup: Chocolate. Brown sugar. Raisin.
Perth specialty coffee beans from Ecuador, truly exceptional beans to treat your taste buds over Easter.
How do we spend our Easter long weekend here in Perth? Long weekends are for family, feasting, enjoying a few drinks and sipping on a specialty single-origin cuppa. We couldn’t think of a better way of spending a few days off! Great coffee tastes even better when shared with great company.
Own and operated by the Morales family, the daughter Grace runs most of the show with her Grandfather.
Just 50 years ago, this farm was so exclusive that you could only access the farm by walking or on a horse. Today, visitors can find the coffee farm on one of two routes that cross the summit and form a cross shape (similar to a hot cross bun). This is where Grace’s Grandfather thought of the name of the farm, “Mountain Top Cross.”
Since its beginning, the farm has grown quickly. The farm was the first in the region to have mechanised processes and rapidly became recognised for their high-quality green beans.
Surrounded by virgin jungle, the land is spoiled with great wildlife. This is the perfect area for growing various fruits, veggies and of course… coffee! The farm is around 350 hectares with coffee only making up 2% of that land. However, the coffee that’s in that 2% is exceptional.
As you will notice, these coffee beans are priced higher than our usual. We assure you, it’s worth it. This farm is spoiled with lush greenery, exquisite terrain and the finest equipment. The Morales family is truly talented. Pour yourself a cuppa and experience for yourself.
Specialty coffee beans roasted here in Perth by our team of women coffee roasters Marte and Savannah.
Smooth chocolate, a touch of brown sugar, and finished off with juicy raisin.
Sit back, kick your feet up and enjoy a sip of this Ecuador coffee. Wonderful velvety body with a delightfully sweet finish. Perfect enjoyed alongside your favourite Easter egg… or two 😉
