Our Colombian Natural Decaf is a naturally processed coffee that is sourced from a collection of small farm holders. It is processed naturally and the coffee lover, a smooth and caffeine free brew.

The taste notes you will enjoy are naturally derived from the characteristics of origin in the bean and the roasting technique.  The comforting notes in this espresso roast are of caramel, milk chocolate and golden syrup. Coffee can be decaffeinated in multiple ways and, this one is an especially delicious process. The caffeine is extracted from the coffee using a natural by-product of sugar cane and water. This avoids excessive temperatures seen in other decaffeination processes and leaves an enhanced sweetness.

The resulting coffee is not only caffeine-free but also syrupy, juicy and delicious. Smooth chocolate and caramel flavours meet a balanced acidity with not even a hint of “decafyness”.  So many changes have taken place in the coffee industry in recent years and decaf is benefiting from these changes. From new methods of caffeine removal, to roasters having a better understanding of roasting decaf beans and baristas taking more care of their processes. All of this contributes to developing exceptional decaffeinated coffee with sweetness and flavour (a far cry from the woody and bland decaf of the past).
