Nestled between the mountain ranges in Huila, La Cabaña is this family-run farm owned by Gilberto and Danilo Perez.
The Perez family are passionate coffee producers who live and breathe coffee. They’ve dedicated 14 hectares of their 20-hectare block to coffee trees. The remaining 6 hectares is maintained tropical forest. A beautiful natural landscape rich in forest and fresh springs. A treasure trove for its beauty as well as its delicious coffee.
Perez family often host extravagant parties with their close friends on their property. Sharing stories, dancing, and drinking coffee. We hope to one day attend one of these parties!
Colombia coffee from this farm is bursting with fruity flavours. Notes of rhubarb, mango and even banana can be noted from the cup.
When we poured these beans in our MoccaMaster we were wow-ed with the unique flavours the coffee beans delivered.
Originally roasted for filter brewing, however, these beans are tasting 10/10 as espresso.
